MN captive nut are ideal for applications when you need a nut that is captive and offers quick and easy hand operation. These captive nuts offer a large diamond knurled knob that users can easily torque down with their hands. These nuts are spring-loaded and when unfastened the knob will push up. Additionally these captive nuts have some float which assists with alignment when using multiple MN captive nuts in a single panel. Additionally Matdan can provide a variety of additional options such as flare in or floating ferules as well as drivers in the top of the blind-hole versions to allow for tool usage.
